Enoshima is a small island located in south Kanagawa Prefecture in the city of Fujisawa. There is a beautiful view of the Sagami Bay, which has resulted in Enoshima being a popular sightseeing area. As it takes about 1 hour from Tokyo, it is a popular day-trip destination. Also, it is possible to reach Enoshima from Kamakura via Enoden Line that offers amazing nostalgic train experience.
Here you can visit Enoshima Shrine which is composed of three smaller shrines: Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Okutsumiya, try Japanese street food on Benten Nakamise Dori Street and enjoy the ocean view. Also, Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden and Sea Candle are among the best places to visit in Enoshima. There is a great view of Sea Candle and ocean at the sunset and night.
