Agena district in Uruma city (old Gushikawa city) was a very very lively place in old days. There was the U.S. Military Tengan Communication Site in old Gushikawa city, and Agena was located at just next to the facility.
The Tengan Communication Site had returned to Okinawa and its changed to Midorimachi where a center part of Uruma city today.

I see in a lot of tour videos the concrete covers which I assume now cover the sewage system. But when I was there in 70-71, those were covers for the binjo ditches. And sometimes no cover! Am I correct? Also, still waiting for a walk thru nominoue. Bars and reataraunts. Please! TIA
