Touring the US Capitol Building & Library of Congress & Underground Tunnels! – Washington DC Vlog

We continued our day in Washington DC touring around the National Mall and Downtown DC before making our way up to the United States Capital Building. We explored around the outside of the building and then noticed a line in the front which looked like it was a line to take a tour inside. We didn’t know how this worked, if it was something you needed reservations in advance for or how the process worked. We decided to just hop in line and to our surprise you can just wait in the general admission line and get a ticket for a same day tour of the Capitol Building! We were not expecting to get to do this on this day so it was a wonderful treat! The tour was outstanding! We learned so many interesting facts and getting to actually walk around inside the Capital building and soak in all the rich history was absolutely incredible. This tour was completely free of charge. Make sure you put this stop on your list when visiting DC! Next we got to take the underground tunnel that connects the capital building to the Library of Congress! We were amazed by this! The fact we go to be in the underground tunnel which none of us knew was there. This was also my first time ever inside the Library of Congress. I kept seeing the scene from National Treasure in my head!

I have visited all of the Disney Parks in the United States: Disneyland, California Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom! It is my dream to one day visited all the international Disney Parks as well! My travel interests also go beyond the Disney Parks, I love vlogging my cruise vacations and trips to all-inclusive resorts!
I am from Pennsylvania and grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. I currently live back and fourth between my home in PA and Texas. My fiance is from Texas just outside of the Dallas area. I met my Fiance Danny through working with his Mom. She connected us and we started dating long-distance. Danny is also a huge Disney fan and participated in the Disney College Program! We recently got engaged at the Philadelphia Zoo on December 21, 2019! We are in the process of planning our dream destination wedding in the Central Florida area and have even been looking into Disney’s Fairytale Weddings! It is our dream soon after we get married to relocate to the Orlando Florida area to live close to Disney World!
