Recently, “Be together, in a better Hainan” global delegation toured the entire island of Hainan island, China. The total 25 participants not only experienced the beauty of the island, they also dedicated themselves in terms of promoting the culture and tourism of Hainan on a global stage.
As the first ever global tourism promotion after the new release of “Overall plan for the construction of Hainan free trade port” policy, the event was organized by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan province, aiming to promote global engagement, and promote the Hainan Free Trade Port global image in order to develop the island as the top tourist destination after COVID-19.
As part of the “Be together, be better” themed event series, participants from 16 different countries were selected to join the “Be together, in a better Hainan” tour. The delegation consisted of influencers, diplomats, tourism agency representatives, scholars, media experts, and entrepreneurs. They started on 19th September, 2020 in the city of Haikou for the around-the-island tour.
During the tour, local sceneries such as Haikou historical Qilou old street, Baoting tropical rainforest and the beautiful beaches along the Sanya coastline impressed the international visitors.
What a wonderful trip, to enjoy the beauty of Hainan island at the most. And more importantly, the hospitality of Hainan people also impressed the delegation really a lot. This is what happens, when different cultures, different mindsets, and different concepts are jointly mixing together, to rediscover the beauty of Hainan. Event like this could generate more hope to our world, in terms of focusing on communication, engagement and cooperation. With that being said, a more opening, more sustainable and more welcoming Hainan, is now ready to welcome everybody from different parts of the world.

Wow, didn't realize it was that cool there, definitely will add to my list, looks like a packed place for expats though
Please do not overdevelop the island and lose the natural beauty of the place. The main attraction is the nature and ocean… I personally don't want to visit a crowded island covered in modern buildings. You can see that in most Asian cities. Too many tourists will leave an ecological footprint. This is a plea for a sensible development plan that ensures that the natural environment is protected.
Was there 5 years ago. It was then a good place for the Northerners to escape the harsh winter and poor air. I was not so impress with the infrastructure then, but I heard the government had done a tremendous job to clean up the island, improved the road and airport, built a round the island High speed train network, and turned it into a non industry but touristic paradise. Also surprised to learn that foreigners do not need visa to enter this island.
Hope you got a chance to eat the coconut chicken hotpot, they are everywhere in Shenzhen but in Hainan is way better.
Certainly an exotic location that few people have been to, but how about the ethical issues related to being sponsored by a totalitarian government? It doesn't take much research to see the human rights abuses happening in China now and how it's projecting it's soft and hard influence not only in the South China sea, but in Europe as well. I don't expect the travelers I watch to get involved in politics, but I think crossing the line is taking gifts from very questionable governments to promote their country.
My parents bought two flats there. It appeared to be a good investment so far. One in Haikou and one in Sanya, I’ve been witnessing the price surge in the past decade.
The best way to improve the tourism industry in the Province of the Hainan Island of China is to connect the High Speed Rail track of this Island with the Mainland China one by constructing the under the sea bed tunnel, as soon as possible. Especially at this time, after a serial erructions of volcano, destroying the beautiful tourism destination of Hawaii in 2018, There after many tourists certainly will be diverted to other destinations, and the Hainan Island will be their chosen place as well.
To be honest, it’s really hard for russians too to understand locals, despite there is a russian translations everywhere. Chinese people don’t understand russian and don’t understand english too. But in any case Hainan is incredible! Thanks for this video, I miss Sanya so so sooo much now when coronavirus is everywhere and the borders are closed
We've always wanted to go to Hainan Island and you've just confirmed that this place is a little gem! Thank you guys for taking us along via the clip. I will bring my family after the covid madness
I was in Sanya in May and what a stunning place it is! Part of it is a bit like Russian Magaluf but still a beautiful place. When was that?
Unbelievable such gorgeous place exists on earth. Hainan is really wise in preserving its most valuable rainforest and wetlands. Thanks for stunning video
Omg I am soooooo glad I saw this video! I planned to come this month actually but ditched my holiday in favor of studying in Yangshuo (also beautiful place). I heard that Sanya is best for surfing in winter and not as excruciating hot but still summer weather so I figured I go for winter holidays. So awesome to now find out I don’t need to get a visa!!! COVID pls end ASAP
If there is neither a trans-oceanic bridge nor an under sea bed tunnel , as to connect this Hainan Island Province to the Mainland China , then you will never be able to develop this Island fully for the Tourism.
Hey I heard Americans can travel to Hainan, China for 30-days Visa Free, there is one important part that I've seen from various sites, don't you require a Travel Agency to obtain the 30-days Visa Free entry? As that's a bit of a drawback as I would think we should be able to do without one. BTW, great video!!
the visa free program has a massive catch to it. you will need to book something through their travel agencies. They always ask where you're from and they factor in the cost of a visa into whatever they book for you so the trouble of messing around with that "benefit" for the uncertainty of a print out from a travel agency thats going to overcharge you
I like your video. Really great! Now it's a good time to travel in Sanya, Hainan. Of cause, you can also go there in winter. I think Sanya is always a great travel destination for holiday. Sanya is also the most popular tourism city among China natives. Thank you for your share and welcome to travel to more cities of China like Xi'an, Chengdu and you will have a completely different but the same amazing travel experience
Thank you so much for updated this wonderful video on youtube , i just graduated high school in this year june 2019 and i am going continuous my study in the Hainan university .hope that would be fun and beautiful as i thought
Волшебное видео! Такое легкое, динамичное и очень красивое. Спасибо за вдохновение.
Cool!!!!!!! I can't help but notice how positive you all are and the total travel vibe in this. It seems a lot of travel YouTubers have been there, but not as joyful as you guys’ big delegation tour. I suppose you all friends with each other?
If anyone ever go to Hainan, Sanya I recommended to go to the monkey island if you want to see monkey but don't bring color beverage or else they will tried to grab but if it is pain water they don't care lmaooooooo
вот это замануха,да только как обычно при капитализме это всё для избранных а не для народа,да и делать там похоже не чего ,нужно то чему можно научиться – достижения науки и техники
Wahhhhhhhhhh I tell you, the Chinese in Hainan looks nearly the same as the Singaporean Chinese…is it right then to say that most Singaporean Chinese are descended from Hainanese Chinese?
There’re bunch of Russian tourists there, but friendly remind you guys, never ever get there during the Chinese spring festival holidays, they would scams you
Vacation in China, I think of way too many people! This is because I saw Nicole Eddy’s video, summer in Beijing. She was there during school holiday. So, all of the families were out touristing as well. Oh, also too hot! I’d love to go to Shanghai! They have a pretty good beer scene. But, not during the summer, and not when everyone is on vacation!
