Hi, everyone! After Taipei, Taiwan, we took a flight to Singapore and had a 23 hour long layover! During this layover, we were able to not only explore the awesome International Airport, but we also got to go downtown!
We took part in a free tour provided by the airport on a bus. We stopped at two different places and then the bus was going to head back to the airport so we decided to let them know we wouldn’t be joining them back. Instead, we went off exploring by foot to find some authentic Singaporean food! On the way, we got to see China Town and Little India, as well as, a bunch of restaurants, street stands, and shops!
I have an entire video on the awesome Singapore International Airport, but that’ll come out another day. ππΈπ¬
Next up: AUSTRALIA!!!

Ooh singapore. I think my godfather went there. But no video. Ooh green city and architecture *HAPPIES*. Lion city. Sanscript. Wow i didnt know that. Durian the smelly food? What are the 4 languages? English, Mandarin, Malay, Hindi? You checked it so you wouldn't get lost. Hopefully? Singapore has the highest rooftop bar?
Singapore was AWESOME! I wish we could have spent more time exploring the different parts of the city on foot, but we walked a TON that day as is. π Have you been?! What did you think of it?! Australia is next!
It's especially topical after seeing the movie Crazy Rich Asians that takes place mostly in Singapore π Thanks for the video
Surely with you and Joe visiting it becomes "One in Eight" are millionaires? π That skyline looked amazing though – from high rise buildings to small markets in such a small area and also incorporating a lot of greenery too – awesome! Definitely on the "one day" list – though in my case, more for the Grand Prix π
9 bowls of frogs for the price of 6!
I didnβt know much about Singapore, but now I know a little more. Thanks, Sonnie!
Hello Sonny ππ I'm glad to see you and Joe are still having a great time on your adventure πππ
Hello! Sorry I'm late to the party! Singapore looks incredible! I think my mum visited a couple of times but I've never been. Definitely would put it on my list! Just need to find some people to go with (far too hot for the bf). The food sounds interesting. I LOVE how green it was. Hopefully you'll get to go back and see more of it! What are the four official languages?
Hi Sonnie,
A video was put on YouTube yesterday by Braemar Media which shows the massed Pipes and Drums parade through Braemar to the Braemar Gathering. Thought you might like to see that?
