  1. If you hv the time and budget, try going to borneo.

Sarawak laksa is good. The late anthony bourdain loved it. Rip. And kolok mee in cantonese kow lou mein meaning noodles mixed with gravy or sauce. In sarawak they have their own version of dry noodle.
In sabah they have bbq wild boar called sinalau bakas.

Eaiting food in penang and KL is different than in borneo.

  2. I like get some taiwanese sausage in skewer. The top layer is an egg and the bottom layer is pancake dough and it look confused when that burger looked the same when is cooked. It's an unique fruit tart. Carrot and Turnip are from the same veggie/root family and is Turnip Cake according to Cantonese, but Carrot Cake to Malay locals there. I'm sure Uncle Bob's Fried Kung Fu Chicken is better than KFC. The manufacturer grounded the black beans blended with soy beans is how black soy milk was made. It's not too sweet because Chris asked for little sugar. As for the Fried Ice Cream, all he did is to deep fried the dough for a short time and managed not to melt the ice cream filling inside. Curry Fish Balls is one an ideal street foods. Steph last meal suppose to be Char Kway Teow rather than Kway Teow and is one of my favorite malaysian rice noodles dish.

  3. Thai style skewers sweet glace from the palm sugar used to soften the meat, next time should use
"How how sek" = very nice
"Kei how sek" = quite nice

  4. If you want to find Malay food especially Kelantan State food around KL you can check out Ajimo or Akok youtube channel…

  5. Chris instead saying gei hau sek better say it hau sek or hau hau sek …due to gei hau sek just showing that your foods is just not bad…but hau sek or hau hau sek means your food's good or very good
