Hakata Station is the main train station of Fukuoka City, and always the center of lots of activity. The shinkansen stops here, and you will find the Hakata City shopping building above it, as well as a great rooftop view and Shinto shrine.
You’ll also find a large collection of restaurants, the bus terminal, the subway station, and much more.
Here you can also see the luxurious Yufuin no Mori train leave the station, as well as a very rare sight – the Dr. Yellow bullet train that carries no passengers and is used as a diagnostic and maintenance tool to check the tracks and overhead wires.
Sometimes just coming to people watch can be a more enjoyable and educational experience than visiting another tourist trap.

Hakata is a nice station, just wish I didn't have an hour and some change train ride to get to Fukuoka.
Great, I really enjoy urban landscapes videos too! Nice shot of the Dr. Yellow also. The last scene with subtle music in the background was beautiful, it fits together so well.
Was this filmed just recently? Seems so warm, while my city had feel temperature of -20 °C just recently…
Nice impression.
doraemon around hakata station???? 😃😃😃
Thank you allowing me to travel back in my mind to Fukuoka. I really enjoy the JR station & shops. My favourite cafe for lunch in located behind the big clock in that wonderful building (I believe on 4th floor). The food & service makes a visit so relaxing. I try to spend a day or 2 in Fukuoka before continuing my journey into the beautiful countryside of lovely Kyushu. Personally I find the people as lovely as the scenery. Kyushu people are normally so friendly, open & relaxed.
もう一回行きたい☺️
