Visiting Osaka Attractions By Bicycle ロードバイクで 大阪冒険!



Join Thuong and myself on the second day of our Osaka cycling trip. In the previous day, we cycled about 200km from Nagoya to Osaka. In today’s video (day 2), we cycle around some of the main attractions in Osaka, before we have to head back home to Nagoya.

    4:50 I thought you climbed that spiral staircase on your bike, but then realized your go pro was mounted on the front. That is just a wacky bike ramp.

    5:10 my friend in Osaka said it's no joke about the 30 min wait for the Minamikata Station 南方駅
    Higashi-Yodogawa Station 東淀川駅 which is just one stop north of Shin Osaka has a 40 min crossing

    Along the same rail track Osaka has the lowest overhead railway bridge, where you have to drop your head into aero decent to ride under the bridge. video https://youtu.be/FNwh4L2sLHY
    The crossings are strange for a major downtown area, even near Osaka station there are 2 private trains that run ground level cross across a major stretch of central Osaka. Traffic backs up for 5 blocks before it passes.

    DUDE! you know that one of the tricks of Ortliebs is, that you can carry them up stairs separate? Yes, thats one of the reasons why you can detach them that easily. NB, comparing her mimics under "Of Course I'm upset" after 170 KM into a dead end to the other mimics, I wouldn't turn my back on her ;-P Btw, one of these Ortliebs would carry an angle grinder after my first trip through that.
