NEW Japan Entry Requirements: Easier Than We Thought?? | Japan Travel Update 2022
Japan Entry Requirements … are they easier than we thought?? Well, I did some research, and dug real deep to see who has tried this process so far. I also called the Japanese Government on the new Japan Entry requirements. The answers I found from all my research are pretty surprising, and worth a closer look! Today, we are going to look at the actual requirements to get in Japan, and how the travel agencies have taken the guidance moving forward. Give this video a watch, and see what I found!

Hey I booked for November in Tokio and already bought the ticket and I was planing to visit one day in Osaka and one day in kyoto, should I book hotel and a Train ticket for both Osaka and Kyoto and provide it to the Agency or it will be fine if I do it while being in Japan?
The more I think of JGA, I feel like it's a scam. Damn near 300 00 to pay and even then there's no guarantee your visa will be approved. I'm going to wait it out and see if things get better by November
We approaching 1k subs!!! Keep it up bro 🤘
This is brilliant! Thank you for this! A huge relief
It seems the reason Japan wants Agencies involved in booking your flights and hotels is so that they are able to keep track of you. When you arrive, leave and where you are each day. If the agency books those things it makes it difficult or impossible for the tourist to change them. If you book them yourself it totally defeats the purpose of involving the agency at all. But I'm not sure how the government will be able to know whether the agencies are doing what they are supposed to. Hope this goes away soon and they let people apply directly to the consulate for a visa even if the waiver is not implemented
I also booked through JGA. And although it sucks to pay roughly $215 for the ERFS certificate just to apply for the visa, I just consider it as paying a premium to be able to visit the popular hot spots of Japan without the overtourism. And I'll also be able to make up that deduction difference with the Yen value being at an all-time low right now.
hi, am ready for security, driving and management jobs.please connect.
Do you work for AFN? When you post versus stream your voice goes broadcast mode
Thanks for the good videos! Very helpful 😉
We also submitted through JGA. I'll keep you posted on our journey. We are planning to travel to Japan in November.
I've got two and a half months before boarding to Tokyo. I will wait another month and a half for developments. After that, all bets are off. I may even risk it and try a friendly travel agency that accepts my already booked flights…
My e-visa shows examined and passed. What does this mean?
So… From what you’re saying is that the only purpose of a tour agency is to acquire the visa? Which also means that the package you just purchased for extra could be thrown away since one doesn’t necessarily needs it for access? What’s the point of the tour agency in the first place then? Can’t this whole thing be bypassed by a simple Visa waiver provided by Japan’s government?
Who do I contact to book flights and hotels? I’m confused. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you go to Tokyo DisneySea
I’ll be traveling on october too. Right now in the middle of the proccess to get the ERFS with a travel agency
Thank you man!! This is a very precious information!! See ya soon JAPANNNN!!
Why the hefty fee for DIYs? Lunacy!
So lucky my wife is Japanese. Got a spouse visa in two days. Get married, guys.
Hello, our company is looking for business partners on youtube, are you interested in learning about it?
Thank you for this.
And what about those that have Japanese sponsors?im staying in my gfs house,do i still need an agency?
Could you book airbnbs?
Thanks for the info. Have my stay booked for November and am hoping all this nonsense won't be needed by then. Regarding vaccination status, am I correct in thinking that you can enter if you're unvaccinated as long as you test negative before departure, or do you need to be fully vaccinated?
If I am not vaccinated should I need to quarantine there ??
I'm planning a 3-weeks trip to Japan on November, and I'm trying to keep up with all the information needed in order be able to enter the country. I'm from Mexico, but I'm flying through US/Canada to Narita and viceversa. I have already send an email to JGA in order to get more information about what I need in order to issue the ERFS. I already have the round-trip flight booked along with the first week in Tokyo (Airbnb). I figure JGA will need me to book the rest of the stay (2 remaining weeks) in order to get started on the ERFS process. At this point I don't know what will I need in order to issue the Tourist Visa, but until I get the ERFS with me first, I won't worry for the Visa until then haha.
If all of this is true, I'll be very happy, as I was already saying goodbye to 2.5k-4k dollars that some agencies were asking for 14 days of accomodation, 14-days JR pass and the ERFS. That's a lot of money just for hotel and JR pass and ERFS.
Great video man! Very straight forward and to the point. Keep up the good work. Consider myself suscribed.
I have a flight booked for Sep 14th. I don’t know about ERFS. I got my visa from embassy. It says temporary Tourist 90 days. My concern is when I get there will they expect a tour guide to be receiving me at the airport? Or can I just board the N’EXT myself?
IMHO, you downplayed some significant facts there. 1. The travel agency MUST book the flights. 2.The travel agency charges $300 USD to have your trip itinerary "approved". I postponed my October trip to February because 1)I got a "deal" on Business Class R/T using miles, and 2. I REFUSE to pay $300 or more just to get into Japan. I'm NOT THAT HARD UP. Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand are much more "tourist friendly" at this time. I'll wait until February, thans.
What about the unvaxed people?
I've been trying to go to Japan for a while now and been rescheduling the flights over an over. My partner is Japanese and I was planning on staying on his house but with all of this hotel booking thing I simply don't know what to do. Should I wait until another ease of the measures or just book a hotel and get it over with. It's a lot of money tho
