Previously, Thomas and Robby hiked in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and drove through the Rocky Mountains on I-70. In this video, we woke up at Dead Horse Point State Park and explored one of the nearby trails to check out Shafer Canyon. Then we headed to the visitor center where we saw the potash solar evaporation ponds in the distance. After that we went to Dead Horse Point Overlook where we could also see Thelma and Louise Point in the distance behind a rock.
Then we drove to Canyonlands National Park, and even though we had a dog with us, we were still able to go anywhere a car could go. The park is split in to three parts, Island in the Sky, the Maze, and the Needles. We only checked out Island in the Sky, and our first destination was Mesa Arch. Then we made our way to the Green River Overlook. Next was the Orange Cliffs Overlook. And the finale was Grand View Overlook. On the way out Robby quickly checked out Buck Canyon before we were on our way again to continue west…

Robby‘s gonna be the most useful person on this planet when he’s in his senior years, his wisdom will be fire… 🫡🍻🤙🏼🤘🏼
Enjoyed tour video. Next time you are at Canyonlands you've got to do the Schaffer Trail and/or the White Rim Trail. That's a great road trip.
EVERY MOTEL BATHROOM is nicer than my bathroom at home! 🤣
Hello.. Good day po. Ingat palagi. Bagong Kaibigan at tagasuporta.. 😊
This filming and editing is getting outrageously good. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
Thomas! The mustache looked pretty stellar! Bring it back!
just take the dog homie who tf is gonna mind
So cool! We had to do the same thing last year on our way to NM/CO. Take turns. Lol! Beautiful mother nature. 🙂
Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the rest of the trip! Thanks!!!
As a swede 🇸🇪 where there’s basically no need to apply to visit our nature reserves (only talks of it at certain places I think), nor any regulations against dogs (only horses at certain paths), I’m amazed with these humongous and vast landscapes, which then hold so little people. I get it at certain places – like Angel’s Landing – but not allowing for Sierra or people without passes, having these empty places – it feels overly regulated. People can manage themselves and behave respectfully most often. Such a shame for anyone to miss any of this,..
Thanks for sharing though, once again! Amazing scenery! Always enjoyable to watch your channel, guys!! 👍
Love your stuff!! The Moab area is so beautiful. I've been twice–most recently was fall/winter 2020, where my family wanted to get outdoors and do some hiking for just two or three days. A front blew in the last day, and when we went to Dead Horse Point it was very drizzly and extremely foggy, which actually just enhanced my photos by making it look mysterious. We had to save a couple of hikers at the overlook who had hiked around the rim from their campsite and didn't realize the front was blowing in. They were wet and freezing and needed a ride back to the Visitor's Center. We left the next day early in the morning from Moab and it was snowy and about 20F, and it snowed on us all the way back to Texas.
The road you saw from the overlooks was probably the White Rim Road, which is very popular with motorcyclists, cyclists, and 4wd enthusiasts. My dad wanted to ride it on his motorcycle which is why we went the last time.
Wow! This video looks SO good, and the music makes watching really feel like an experience. I cant wait for the next part!
The mustache xD
Thank You Both, for taking us all along. Marvelous footage ~
This is why I dislike going to national parks, their dog policy. I'm not going anywhere without my two pups.
this shit is like mars but with sparse vegetation
Wow Thanks guys! Ok, obviously you have nice camera equipment.
The stuff from Canyonlands is epic! A few of the held shots across those infinity canyons truly waxed with the cinematographic style of a feature length film.
I'm So so happy I watched on my big tv. I suspect Robbie is guilty of sliding that in under the radar. Most Excellent work, fine Sirs!
Others have commented on the videography and editing, but I have to say the music just keeps getting better and better too.
I'm sorry happy to see you hiked at the Canyanlands.
It’s hard to grasp the vast ness of the area you just visited . amazing! Not sure the central Australia could compete . Thanks
New sub ! Liked 🔥🌙😊😉
The river cutting a canyon may be the old model for some places in the U.S- though not to say it didnt happen here. Inconceivable amount of glacial flood water is what looks to be how the scablands of washington state were formed, Randall Carlson's work on the matter is more fleshed out research anyway.
I was just in Canyonlands (as well as Arches, Capitol Reef, and Grand Tetons) in June with my family. Canyonlands is such an underrated park.
Spaceman Spiff, absolutely! : )
