This log flume is different than most in that it has a duel drop which is designed to have the boats skim across the top of the water rather than splash into it.
Hersheypark is located near Harrisburg in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

  1. Well cost4airtime1 that there would be tasty but people would enduo covered in chocolate and it would harden! Besides who has ever herd of a chocolate flume?

  2. Isn't this ride similar to the former White Water Landing @ Cedar Point and the former Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal at Kings Island.

  3. The genius of this ride is that that constant on-off boat hub allows for an insanely fast queue. This means you can ride it several times in, say, 20 minutes if the park isn't too busy.

  4. do they usually wait until after memorial day to open log flumes? I've seen some parks that open log flumes early if it's hot that year does hershey do that?

  5. We went to Hershey a week ago. My husband and I wanted to get on this, and our kids flat out refused. Acted scared of getting wet. What is wrong with my kids???? We played around in the water park for 3 hours, but they were afraid of getting wet on this????

  6. My family and me have been going to Hershey when I was 6 now in 11 and a jolly rancher I've been on EVERY ride and EVERY roller coaster and it is super duper fun

  7. Went here a few weeks ago and i noticed an employee for the first time at the umbrella right before the drop. All I could think was how terrible her job must be.

  8. I'm not really a thrill seeker nor do I like big roller coasters, as the only big rides I've went on were the ones that have the big splash when you hit the bottom, maybe this one if you'd consider it big, the Wild Mouse ones, and those little roller coasters. ( the big splash ones are my absolute favorite )
When I went on this a few days ago with my dad, it scared the shit out of me. I haven't been on the big splash ones or the roller coasters in a long while so I forgot how much drops scared me.
It also reminded me how much of a lazy excuse of a scream I produce. Most females have this high pitched scream while I'm the one with the short, slightly deep scream.
    It basically went " AHH
    AHH "
    my god.

  9. I went on this last year and trust me, I haven't been on any big big rides like storm runner Fahrenheit anything. This one isn't very scary, it's very fun! Anyone know if tidal force is super super scary?

  10. This is the most unreliable ride. Every time I've been to Hershey it's been closed.

  11. This looks like a good log flume ride but doesn't beat the one that used to be at Opryland. I would still like to ride this one and visit the park.

  12. The last time I went to Hershey park I went on this my sister tricked me into it and now I want to go on it the next time I go
