曽木の滝（そぎのたき）は、落差12m、幅210mの滝で、千畳岩の岩肌を削るように流れ落ちる水流と轟音は、「東洋のナイアガラ」と呼ばれます。

曽木の滝は、鹿児島県北部を流れる川内川にかかり、滝幅210ｍ・落差12ｍのスケールの大きな滝です。
また「曽木の滝公園」内には桜の木も植えられていて、春になると「桜と滝」も同時に眺められます。

曽木の滝は「東洋のナイアガラ」とも呼ばれ、「平成百景」でも24位に選ばれるなど人気が高く、秋には紅葉名所としても有名です。
千畳岩の岩肌を流れ落ちる水流とその轟音は、訪れる人々を釘付けにするほど迫力があります

Sogi Falls is a large waterfall with a width of 210 meters and a height difference of 12 meters, which spans the Sendai River running in the northern part of Kagoshima Prefecture.
In spring, you can see the cherry blossoms and the waterfall at the same time.

Sogi Falls is also called “Niagara of the Orient” and ranked 24th in “Heisei hyakkei” (One Hundred Views of the Heisei Era), and is famous for its autumn foliage.
The roaring sound of the water flowing down on the rocky surface of the Senjo Rock is so powerful that visitors are riveted to the waterfall.
