This Maurer Söhne Xtended SC 2000 spinning coaster has been a huge success ever since it replaced the old SDC Hurricane in 2013. Did you know that there are 15 of these Maurer Söhne spinners currently operating (including a traveling one on the German fair circuit) and East Coast(er) General has filmed all but two of them (other than Cagliostro at Rainbow Magic Land and Crush’s Coaster at Disneyland Paris, which are too dark)? So do you know which one he hasn’t ridden?
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is located about 75 miles south of San Francisco in Santa Cruz, California.

The one at Skyline Park Germany?
This is a clone to spider at lagoon
was gonna say steel dragon waldameer. i was wrong lol
dig it
Im guessing sonic spinball at alton towers, since i haven't seen a video of it on this or his channel
Shot in the dark here, was it Whirlwind at Camelot?
Who else thinks Hurricane was better?
This is a shot in the dark (no pun intended) but was it Laff Trakk at Hershey Park, assuming it counts?
I remember when the SCBB was the skankiest place I'd ever seen. It sure got fixed up.
When did you record this
Personally, yes I think this coaster is good but I don't feel it stands out or is that much of an upgrade from hurricane. I do believe change is sometimes good so I am glad the boardwalk made a sincere effort to keep the park fresh and exciting. However, I wish the boardwalk would take out a ride and put in an inverting coaster/thrill ride as they only have 1/2 of a flipping ride as you literally have to pull on a bar to make it flip…
My only issue with Undertow is that all the trim brakes are all in operation, so the pacing and speed of the ride suffers.
they have one of these at seabreeze in rochester, ny
Oliko suomalainen kyydissä? Minä kuulin sen sanovan "apua".
Is the new roller coaster at Hershey Park, Laff Trackk, one of these coasters?
Are u guys going to do a video of firefall when it opens at silver dollar city
Sadly was closed in october 2013 while I was @ Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. But the "park" was awesome enough without it. Especially the Ghost Train was very good! ^^
Sonic Spinball at Alton towers?
My friend told me it was 800 ft
Are these rides good? I've yet to be on a spinning coaster and one is coming to my park next year, Hersheypark. How fun are they compared to other rides?
Are you a loud to record on these rides,? With phones etc.
This makes me think of the Spider at lagoon. I am thinking its definitely the same layout!
I Like the Hericane WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY More Than The Undertow Here
0:50 totally a Wilhelm scream ROFL
is this scary
Like if u think that ride hurts ur neck it does mine hurricane was waay better
it spins ??
Thank you so much for making this. I miss Santa Cruz so much, it makes me feel like I'm there again. <3
Dude the cave train adventures is better and more thrilling than this…..
This ride sucks
This looks boring to me! Too much braking and too short. There must be strict height limits at the Boardwalk. Also wished it spun more. Bring back the Jetstar. That was awesome!!
I went on this rollercoaster for my first experience on a roller coaster so for my first time , that was last week the greatest decision
I think a B&M Floorless coaster would be AWESOME at Santa Cruz. They could call it the Ocean Scream or something
Ive been on a sc 2000 named the spider thats located at lagoon utah. I love it
I'm adding this park to my bucket list
To ride this isnt not long quenes?
Why cant i only buy ticket to only ride one ride
This is such a fun ride and I’m so scared of roller coasters but if you don’t like to see the drop sit in the front because it turns backwards when you drop but it’s sooo fun
Going down that first drop backwards is awesome.
