◆Explanation
The museum’s main exhibit is on shipbuilding technology in Kure City before and after the war. As the nickname “Yamato Museum” suggests, the museum focuses on the construction of the Yamato, a super-large warship of the former Imperial Japanese Navy, and its military activities.
Inside the museum, there are many models on display, including a 1/10th scale model of the battleship Yamato and the Zero fighter.
