    I dot think it was the worst bus in Egypt because things like this happen really a lot out there. When I took the same route by bus it was freezing cold and a guy next to me even smoked 🙂

    I'm sorry but those assholes encouraging the cat fight with their disrespectful children are just awful. I know that you both are not into animal rights or interfering by any means but there is a lot to be said about being able to 'just stand by'.

    In my experience Arabic is the best sounding "arguing loudly" language. A Lebanese friend from university used to have some really epic arguments with her boyfriend in Arabic (we lived next door to each other in a dorm for a year), and I always felt that the tones of the language really lent itself for loud arguments. In the beginning I used to check in on the situation since it, in my ears, sounded like fists were about to fly. In reality the bf had left the toilet seat up or something, and they laughed at me for showing up all concerned. It may not be the best reason to learn a language, but sometimes I've thought about learning Arabic just to be able to argue loudly 🙂
