NSCR Malolos Analysis | PNR Clark Phase 1 – Sumitomo



It’s been a long time since we last visited part of the North South Commuter Railway project here in the town of Malolos.
At the end of the month of August, let’s take a look at the current state of the project.

The Sumitomo Mitsui construction company LTD was awarded by our government for NSCR Contract Package-02. They will do the 6 km. segment of the project here in the town of Malolos. The total number of piers that will be built is 123 in the Capital of the province of Bulacan. And compared to the typical girders along the North-South Commuter Railway, there is a difference in the design of the girders here. Because the piers or poles have a span of 50 meters, here in the town of Malolos. This was done to avoid the poles that were previously built, in the cancelled NORTH RAIL Project during the time of Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. And of course, this includes the station that is located next to the old PNR Malolos station.

    So nasayang lang ang ginastos sa mga naunag piers ng railway. Ito ang mga proyecto na hindi pinag aralan ng mga namumuno ng admistration ni Macapagal Aroyo, dahil pera ng bayan walang pakialam sa paggastos na pakikinabangan. Ang dapat sa administration ng gobierno ay makipagugnayan sa dating namumuno ng ongoing projects ng prior administration para hindi masayang ang pera ng mga tao. Tulad ng mga project ng dating President Duterte, pinag papatuloy ng current administration ni President Bongbong Marcos Jr. ito ang dapat ginagawa ng mga administration na susunod imbes na magawa ng kanikanilang projecto para lang masabi na project nila.
    I’ve worked on multi Billion $US projects constructed by Sumitomo, they have the capabilities not only construction but also engineering, good construction planning and scheduling.

    Pwede mag road widening ung tabi nung NSCR. (Manila North Road ata) or gawing expressway ung ilalim.
