The Tomato Festival (La Tomatina in Spanish) held in Buñol, Spain is one of the craziest festival in the world. 20,000 people throw 130 tons (300,000 pounds) of tomatoes at each other. The festival is held every year on the last Wednesday in August. The Tomato Fight starts at noon and ends an hour later at 1pm. The ticket price is only 12 euros, but may vary depending on the services included. (e.g., T-shirts, lockers, after-party, bus transportations between Buñol and Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia)

    Oh my stars this was bonkers, I've heard of the festival but never seen it from such a personal point of view! 😮🍅 The other thing about this video is the juxtaposition between the filthy chaos of this and the pristine cleanliness prevalent in your usual videos 🤣 I'm not entirely sure what to make of this madcap festival 🤣🤣 So it started in 1945, therefore the end of World War Two so possibly a celebration of the end of the war, I'm just guessing though I also thought there was little food available then. What a tradition to keep going 🍅🤣🤣
