Looking for Things to do in Sasebo? Here are my top 3 observation decks to check out!
0:42 Tenkaiho Observatory 展海峰
2:37 Ishidake Observatory 石岳展望台園地
5:20 Mt. Yumihari 弓張公園
Sasebo isn’t exactly the most exciting place in Japan, but don’t let that influence your opinion on this small city! Sasebo is absolutely gorgeous and there are so many beautiful viewpoints just 15 minutes from the city. Today we are going to three and they are all places you can drive to, have a picnic at, watch the sunset, and view the 99 islands. Don’t forget your camera because the view is stunning.
These are three mainstream places to visit, there are even more observation decks in the Nagasaki area so if this is the type of activity you enjoy, definitely search around on google maps and you’ll be able to find many more!
Each observation deck has a free parking lot with a fair amount of spaces, but beware Tenkaiho does get busy when flowers are in bloom and you might have to wait in line for a parking spot.
Comment below if you have a favorite viewpoint in Sasebo or which one of these you’re most excited to visit!

Stunning place.. i love how u show it..incredible..
I would love to meet yu when I get to sasebo
Wow, beautiful memories albeit much of the town of Sasebo is totally different. I experienced Sasebo as a US Navy Sailor aboard the USS Jason AR-8 on two WESTPAC cruises from '73 to '74. As part of a gang of about a half dozen Christian group sailors we took advantage of touring the area including I believe a few hikes up to the top of one of the surrounding peaks. I am thinking it was Mt. Yumihari as the walk was up the road rather than a trail. Thank you for posting these videos.
Pretty amazing drone views, you should be getting WAY more views!
