The concentrated torrential rains caused flooding damage mainly in Murakami City and Sekikawa Village in Niigata Prefecture, where I live. This is the heaviest rainfall in about 50 years.
A short distance away in Tainai City, Shinbata City, and Niigata City, roads were also flooded and damaged.
This video shows the storm in Shinbata City, and you can feel the heavy rain and wind.
It poured down like a waterfall, hitting my umbrella and making it very difficult to walk.
You walk along listening to the sound of the rain hitting your umbrella.
I hope this sound of rain will relieve your serious insomnia and give you a restful sleep.
There is no startling sound of thunder, so you can watch and listen with peace of mind.
