The finca “Son Huguet” is a very special jewel, a country house, a place to relax and enjoy. The old village school from the 16th century has been lovingly restored and now radiates with many small details, funny colors, magical smells … a retreat of the very special kind. The house is absolutely quiet on a hill near the north coast, about 3km from the beautiful Ariany, between Petra and Can Picafort. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view over Pla i LLevant, a landscape zone on the north-east side of Majorca. Hills and mountains, fertile fields, steep coasts with embedded bays and sandy beaches, make the landscape a kind of Mallorca concentrate. Nowhere else on the island are all the elements united in such a narrow space.
The natural stonehouse in its green oasis of herbs, cacti and almond trees enchants every guest with fragrances, colors and aromas. The outdoor area has many different corners with individual and unique details and offers beside pool, garden and padded seat corners many hidden surprises, which want to be discovered. From the roof terrace you can enjoy the infinite view of the expanse of the island center. In the idyllic garden, relax with your favorite book under almond trees, hovering on a hammock. A delicious breakfast or the “Cortado” in the afternoon is celebrated with friends on the small cozy terrace or in the garden chair. There is a special place for everyone and even if you want to go back there is no lack of particularly cozy “hiding” to relax.
The interior is no less artistic. A mix of natural stone walls, restored furniture, colorful paintings and luminous fabrics, all of which can be admired on 3 floors. The ground floor is divided into 2 living rooms. The slightly smaller is thought to chill on the sofa in front of the TV and the larger offers plenty of space in front of the XXL fireplace on a walled sofa with comfortable upholstery and pillows. The change between cool natural stone walls and warm, colorful furnishing gives us a very special feeling of space. The open kitchen with solid olive wood table and absolutely artistic decoration is fully equipped and decorated with great attention to detail. From here you have direct access to the coquettish terrace overlooking the pool. Sun umbrella, sun beds, terraces table with chairs and cushioned seat furniture are of course included.
The two upper floors offer 5 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, 2 of them en suite. One of the rooms is excellent for luggage and storage space. All areas of the house are differently designed and enchant in a colorful design.
