This is a good coaster for a cheap beach one
I could go here if I want cause I go to daytona beach a lot
So glad to see this coaster still in operation! I used to ride this all day when it was in Delgrosso park in PA. For those asking it's a Pinfari Zyclon coaster built in 1971 for Adventure Park in Illinois, then moved to Legend City in Pheonix Arizona in 1978. In 1987 it was moved to Delgrosso park in Pennsylvania. In 2004 it went to Blue Diamond park in Delaware, and now I'm very glad to see it still operational in Florida. Enjoy it guys, it was my childhood favorite 🙂
I rode this about a week ago and it's so fun!
"1, 2, 3, sand blaster" should be a required saying for every ride.
similar one like santa monica in california
it's Just COASTER not a Roller at all 😀
I rode this a minute ago sorry for spelling don't make fun of me k
For a state known for its mega parks im sure this tiny amusement is nothing compare to the Big Boys…however it would still be fun to go there one day.:) I looked it up both the coaster and that sling shot ride looks a lot of fun. I dont live in Florida but i am visiting in Florida now.
i went on this yesterday 🙂
I went on that ride last year and it was so fun!! I rode it like 10 times in 1night
Formerly the only coaster in my state, Delaware. It was know as the Blue Diamond Streak and was removed when Blue Diamond Park closed. I never got to ride it, but it's good to see that it's in a much better park!
Was there a few hours ago. Its extremely run down rusted out and trash everywhere on the lot. I don't think it's still open but if it is… It doesn't look like it should be. located next to rusted out graveyard of like 60 go-karts next door.
this kinda reminds me of grand theft autos roller coaster
That coaster just fucking derailed today, 2 days after me and my grandpa were talking about how unsafe it was while walking past it
Who’s watching after the derailment?
I thought those things were supposed to be safe? They derail and hurt and kill people?
You were on good morning America. Lol
This coaster derailed last night and sent two people 34 ft to the ground, and left many others dangling in the car 🙁
Funny how everyone has ideas about what went wrong. Lets wait for the report people. We all know up-stops failed and its clear there was a lot of weight on it. Lets focus on what went right. The cars didn't crash to the ground and it looks like the 3rd car is locked in the track brakes so way to go track team for aiding the riders when things went wrong and getting them out of this in one piece. There survivors and you ride rides taking those risks we all take for the thrills. life goes on for them all and that's a great day.
I'm here for all the GP flipping out over the crash
These cars have a 500 lb limit and the 3rd car in the beginning had 4 adults in it.
First off this looks like it was taped right after it opened so why would they need to be pushed off to start? Maybe they didn't design enough of an incline to roll the cars to the lift chain? Second, no brakes on the last turn going into the station? It seems they shouldn't have a drop just before the station like that. It's no wonder they're overshooting the station! Third, this coaster bears a lot of resemblance to the old Jet Star at Seaside Heights, NJ, the one washed out to sea by Hurricane Sandy. Although it's missing Jet Star's sharp angled first drop the rest of the layout is very similar. Finally I would put this on my bucket list since it is one of the types of coasters I like to ride but after reading other comments about a derailment I'm not too sure about that.
Looks like a 3car trained wildcat
Are those manual brakes on that track? Who on earth thought that was a good idea?
Didn’t this place already have a Galaxi Zyklon?
The sand blaster derailed and it just shut down
