The other day I watched the top 10 most beautiful states in america but today i thought it would be interesting to know the worst states ! Honestly this was as fun as the other one as it’s pretty depressing but still learnt a lot from it ! If you are one of these states listed, let me know if you agree or not and also tell something you don’t like about your state!

Chicago is actually not as dangerous as Baltimore Maryland I’ve lived in maryland almost my entire life and when I was a kid it was amazing I never noticed anything wrong and as I got older I realized the heroin issue the homicide rates rising and I believe they are both reaching all time highs at least the homicide is and have had people in my friend group involved in both sides of that spectrum and recently my old friend have been living in abandoned houses and even found a dead body a few weeks ago which is still rotting inside that building as I’m typing this and it’s sad and I’m very appreciative that I’m all the way on the west coast now
I can't believe California isn't on this list. They left out some important metrics. California is in the worst few states in cost of living, income inequality, and homelessness. I remember a report ranking them dead last in quality of life.
I’m surprised Michigan isn’t on there. There’s multiple murders and crimes a day in Detroit alone. I would advise anyone coming to Michigan for the first time to stay far away from Detroit. Law and order has just been given up by now because it’s so bad.
I live in Alaska, Anchorage specifically. I also live in a subdivision called Foxwood in south Anchorage. That narrator just doesnt want people to live in Alaska, i can confirm that the PFD (Personal Fund Dividend) is real, last month they announced that this years PFD will be 1,114 dollars. That thing about “High Prices” is accurate for gas station stores and smaller family stores, but not if you have a Costco membership or go to Walmart. They also have a lot of oriental Japanese, Chinese and Philippine stores because of the high asian population here. Including me ( i was born in the Phillipines and was raised there for 10 years of my life before i came over to Alaska)
That thing he said about crime is true for only some parts of the city, for example. If you ever want to live here, avoid any district with the name “View" they have the highest amount of crime and homeless people walking around drunk. Downtown isnt so bad as the “Views" but i do see an occasional article about someones car being stolen. Overall though, Downtown is ok.
Thats all i have to say, i could say more but you probably wont see this and this might be all for nothing, but what the hell. Ill try anyway
We technically held hands, I too touched the bean 🥴
“Edit” the drug trade went from Cali or Oregon to anchorage causing a crime boom in the early to mid 90’s. BFG I believe , I could be wrong, and with the oil money they get yearly plus it being boring at times = drugs = addicts = crime and so on.
Me living in Alaska: yes, the crime is high and many things are expensive, the safest and cheapest 3 cities are Juneau, Fairbanks, and Anchorage.
enjoy your chip?
everyone saying how they are happy theirs wasn't on
me in Pennsylvania with idiots and people who are so rude everywhere except like 3 cities, and everything else upset that Pennsylvania wasn't on there lol
like today we had a Halloween parade and the person was working on blocked roads directing drivers elsewhere and someone went the other way, where the road was blocked, and he opened the window, screamed at her for doing her job, and sped off
we couldn't even do anything since police werent there or anything, like our police forces are even good at all-
Arkansas has the lowest cost of living in the US.
I think Alaska also has a ratio of 2 men per every 1 women.
Arkansas UP NORTH IN OZARKS IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS….
Illinois, you're just a cheap copy of Indiana! Go Indiana!
crime rate for alaska is very much dependant on where places such as Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan then yes kinda dangerous due a variety of reasons drug addiction being one of them. And costs is also made worse since alaska is considered RED TAPE BS labelling NON-Continental U.S. cause for some reason that matters to some A-Hole out there.
My state (Louisiana) did make the list but this guy went all the way in on Arkansas.
How can anyone in Japan decides what constitutes "the worst states in the USA" unless he has actually been here?
Im not the only one that was waiting to make sure my state wasnt on the list right?
While it's true those states aren't great to LIVE in…visiting is different, and each one has places of historic significance that are worth seeing, especially as a lover of nature and natural wonders. Don't let this get you down; every place has hazards.
As an American, I’m shocked Michigan, New York, and (especially) California we’re not on here. Great places to visit; although, terrible places to live.
The list tries to make these states seem like horrible places to live, but lets be honest for a moment. Living in Mississippi, the worst state according to the list, still beats living pretty much any where else in the world. This list is like getting all the olympic gold medalists together and nitpicking which one is the worst at their sport. They're still the best in the world at what they do, but let's talk about that mole on their face….
I knew I was in the 1st worst state but hey people are nice here
worst states to live in are those with Leftist authoritarians running them
California and New York are the ass hole and armpit of our country.
i bean here
You should move to Tennessee
The city would be the worst for crime, but living in the country would be fine.
Naturally, Illinois was the first one mentioned, lol. I do agree that it sucks, but definitely not because of the small towns outside of Chicago!
Reads title
Let me guess, Mississippi is dead last
EDIT: LMAOOOO
I'm from Kentucky, despite all the negatives, I love it here. Although, temperatures fluctuate rapidly between seasons. One day its 23° celcius(75°F) and the next day it's 10° Celsius (50°F). Sometimes even lower. Onee time we had summer temperatures for 1 week and the next was literally cold enough for snow.
Oh and yeah, we do have terrible healthcare. 🙁
Ohio worst state
Had a person come back and told me we are nicest people in Oklahoma
The People's Republic of Massachusetts welcomes all visitors with money to spend! We celebrate the fact that the party was not named on the list.
America is different. All of welder many other states it is that weld made people are talking about the sudden else this and that but is very sad that many people that are well United States is concentrated is only for the biggest popular ever that are of states that are above this one or that one order here or here go there or there or someone else right there by the resident states that are well everyone needs to know the truth about it that a what is happening what's going on and why is like a deserted like a ghost town it is but that is the truth that I had to say this right now because sometimes that I may need like video or logs or many people want what they are saying of what you listening about it that well the states of the United States of America and I had to say this for telling you the truth about it that a CDs or getting grow suburbs is getting popular of a privacy and some other different locations that are not have to say this. You know that is shiny it is great is right to the front of it but when you're going to turn around about it that I love you let you look at it and that is another story right there that what is going on and what is happening how does this happen and well what's wrong with it because sometimes that I that people at the other you need to know something about it that how to say this all year politicians other things including that nobody notices that her about it is like well you know this other corruption it is that that is the truth that had to say this right now if that because many people that they do like a corruption but had to say this in United States of America who is responsibility and who's not that is the truth that everyone needs to know
I really don't know how i feel about this list. Im from Illinois and agreed with that 100% we hate our state. Cook county being the main reason. But I'm surprised california, new york, or georgia. Usually they are up there for mortality rates though…
I live in a Chicago suburb 50% and downtown 50% and it is soooo expensive. You need to pay for grocery bags in downtown Chicago. It’s not as expensive as Alaska but it can be really pricy in some suburbs. Evanston is for the RICH RICH in the Chicago area. There is great schools in the suburbs but downtown is ify. As long as you stay on I-94 or lakeshore drive into the southern part of downtown, you are gonna be fine. I’ve never experienced any violence or crime outside of that area. Most of the area is safe. Police are strict and everywhere. The police on lake shore are jerks tho. Things are better but be careful at night. There are pockets of safety in the southern part. The University of Chicago is a pocket of safety. Obama is from that area I think. Idk but if you have the money the Chicago northern suburbs is the place to raise a family. I only got into college because I went to a school there. People are snobby but there is no crime. You can keep your doors wide open all night. If you are Jewish it’s also a place to be! The northern suburbs have a huge Jewish population. Skokie has a huge orthodox population.
I mean I live in the very far north of Arkansas and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Not much really bad about Arkansas tbh and I mean it doesn’t stink 💀 I breathe in the fresh air every morning and nothin smell like chicken and cow shit unless you live near a farm lmfao. There is plenty of wood area etc. If you really enjoy the outdoors then north Arkansas is definitely the place to go 🤙🏻 not really anything bad about it tbh.
Personally I don’t think that you’d should be calling states worst than the other because the all hove there pros and cons.
How was California not on the list
Don't listen to this hack, California and New York are worse than any of the states in this list with their crippling over regulation and trampling on personal freedom all over the place. San Francisco is particularly HORRIBLE today and California has a serious housing shortage and homeless problem.
Native West Virginian, yeah it sucks here. On a brighter note, the building on the right at 11:04 is where I spend literally every day. It's White Hall at West Virginia University in Morgantown and it houses our physics and astronomy department.
Heck yeah my state isn't on the list you go Colorado! 🤣😂
Loved the Video by the way keep doing what you are doing and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!
Alabama isn’t that bad
I think I speak for a lot of Americans. We are pissed California isn’t #1 on this list. Worst state in my opinion
Alaska is also ranked low because in the Winter in some places you might get 4 hours of sunlight for months…Someplaces Zero daylight for months..Who would want to live in darkness for half the year?
california should be #1
Good for cheap livin
I’m in Pennsylvania & we have a massive taxation problem too & NOTHING to show for it😕
I’m kind of surprised that California wasn’t even on this list, I thought it would be number 1 or 2 but it’s not even on the list
I'm personally not on your list but if you want to go to a state look for New Hampshire very diverse very beautiful and no sales tax
I've known a couple people from Alaska and a couple of things they both said: alcoholism is a huge problem. One of my friends said his parents gave him alcohol starting at a young age to "help keep him warm" so he was a full blown alcoholic by high school. He was still struggling when we were working together.
There's not a lot to do and domestic violence, suicide etc is a huge problem. I'd attribute that to alcoholism too.
