  1. I had high hopes when I saw the previews but after watching the entire video I was thoroughly disgusted. They wasted an expensive live king crab and ruined a great cut of steak. Everything was overcooked and all the natural flavors were overwhelmed by heavy sauces. Char-Siu sauce for beef, are you kidding me?!?! I was perplexed but when I saw it was pan fried to medium-well and then cooked again in the oven, I know this won't end well. Are they doing the beef version of Twice Cooked Pork?!?! And then came the avocados, onions, and mushrooms. At first I was intrigued but when I saw it was mushed with lumps of king crab meat I was flabbergasted. What a waste of fresh crab when a can of frozen would have sufficed. The main ingredient has to be the star of the show and in this case it was forced to share the stage with extras. In their effort to present their version of fusion cooking, it was a total confusion of ingredients and preparation.
