#Tokonyan, the guardian cat of #Tokoname, watches over the historic city of ceramics, where the largest number of #ManekiNeko (beckoning cat) figures are produced. The city’s Maneki-Neko Street and the Pottery Footpath will lead you to the past and present of Tokoname where at least 1000 #kilns were already producing #Tokonameware in early 12th century.
