Konnichiwa, everyone!

Day 2 of climbing Shiroumadake is finally here! Yey! This hike was incredible. It was a little difficult but it was so worth it! Definitely a mountain high up in my list of favorite mountains to climb in Japan. Now, I totally get why this mountain is so famous…it’s STUNNING!

On Day 1, we took the Sarukura route going up and then on day 2 we took the Tsugaike Pond route going down. Day 1 took us about 7 hours to get to the ridgeline, and for day 2, it took us about 8 and a half hours to get out of the mountain.

I can’t really choose which route I liked more because Sarukura was a little difficult but short. Tsugaike Pond was gorgeous but super long. Haha I’d recommend the same route any day though! You get the best of everything!

Anyway, arigathankyouuu as always for watching!
