Hi there! New to THE LONE EXPLORER channel? If so, here’s what you need to know — I like to explore cities and towns walking, in bicycle, by motorcycle and driving my car a LOT, so I use this channel to explore urban and countryside of Panama. (Eventually other places of the world).
The channel serves as a town guide as well and I’m pleased if it will help everyone travel in Panama.

I hope you enjoy it!

Want to help SUPPORT my channel or wanna buy me a coffee? Thank you in advance!

  3. Well….I lived ALL of this. Gorgas Hospital where I was born going up towards the old Governor of the Canal Zone's Mansion (Parfit?), then the LT Governor's house….the Administration Buildung, down the hill to the Balboa train station. Then L to the old Balboa Commissary and Post Office (Box 432), The Prado to where I attended Elementary abd the Goethels Memorial. Balboa Flats. Balboa Union Church. La Boca Rd. around Sosa Hill and the old quarry. Thatcher Ferry Bridge and then the Printing Press Bldg. on the R. The YMCA Building to Amador Rd. L onto Thatcher Ferry Bridge to go to Fort Rodman and Howard AFB. Fabulous memories. THANKS!!

  5. I want to move back home to Panama. My family is from Panama and Colombia but my Dad is retired US Army and my Mom worked at Gorgas.

  6. "Gringoland" back in the day. My Uncle office was in the building around 4:49 to 5:00 in this vid. Wow, still looks about the same. Some of the old places like Ft. Sherman haven't faired as well.
