In my latest Daily vlog, I am off to buy a new set of Apple Airpods, however this time I am buying fake knock off’s from Sukhumvit Road. Join me as I take an adventure through Bangkok to purchase some new headphones and stop in at one of my favourite restaurants for lunch!

This is just a reminder that when you buy the "real" airpods, you are grossly overpaying just for the stupid brand name. Apple, like most big companies just rips people off for having their branding on a product. Wouldn't surprise me if they were made on the same factory line in China.

Dude… "Find My" on almost any Apple product is great for tracking things down. Works for Airpods as well, and even reports their last location if they shut down.
Mate, nothing wrong with trying knock-offs. I once bought a fake Rolex for $20 when I was in Malaysia. Damn thing lasted nearly 15 years, never missed a beat and I wore it a lot! Good luck with the McAirPods !

There are so many copied one around 180THB-300THB, it looks the same as original one but only microphone and sound quality will tell you the quality.

A lot of the “knock offs” are the real thing but don’t pass Apple’s QC so the factory sell them cheap to such places…

Grabbed a pair as well… For everyone else looking:
– The stall is on Sukhumvit Soi 3/1 (Just east of the main Soi 3 intersection)
– It opens in the afternoon.
– They have a range of earphones (no headphones) and BT speakers (Apple Pods, Samsung Buds+, JBL, etc).
They offered them a little cheaper than what Adam got his for, but I think Adam paid the white guy tax 😀.
When I went the seller was totally deaf and a really good guy. I counter offered 1,000 baht and he nearly had a break down (Keep the Good Vibes going people!)
I ended up showing the guy Kies' video, and he smiled and made the video charade motion 😀.
Maybe lost in transit? Factory second end up somewhere.

re: the airpods, do they have the M1 chip inside when you open the case it pops up on your screen? or do you have to manually connect them?

Air Pods are so crap…they're designed to get lost easily! I prefer the old style wired headphones or blue tooth style headphones that clip on your ear.
Mate l snagged the AirPods Pro for a grand yesterday then immediately had lunch at that little Soi 11/1 eatery you suggested. I’m not saying l was on a roll but thank f**k you didn’t end your video with a face tattoo!!!😳
