Halibut Cove is, in my opinion, the most striking place in South-central Alaska that there is! It is so quaint and quiet, and an awesome place for artists to get their craft on.
Just a short 45 minute boat ride form Homer and you can be in Alaskan paradise.
If you have been to Ketchikan, then you have kind of been to Halibut Cove. There are board walks for miles, stairs galore up the hill sides and houses on rocks in places your wildest imaginations could have never taken you.
It is some of the most expensive property in Alaska but wow is it worth it. I have traveled through a lot of Alaska and truly the place that comes the closest to Halibut Cove, is Ketchikan.
While there you have the chance to eat at The Saltry restaurant or get some overnight accommodations at Halibut Cove Rentals, Hideaway Cove Wilderness Lodge, Alaska’s Ridgewood Wilderness Lodge, or Stillpoint Lodge.

beautiful place but you should have narrated what you were filming so we know what we are looking at. Also don't sit in one spot for so long.
