Traveling while pregnant – Would you do it?!

My first trimester was difficult. I spent most of my time on the couch, and wondered if this was how I’d be the entire pregnancy now. As a full time travel blogger, it was worrying.

When my 14th week arrived, it felt like as if a new wave of energy came over me. I was excited to explore again! At 20-week pregnant, I worked with Texas local tourism board and explored Big Bend National Park, mostly solo. A few days later, my partner, G and I went on a nice baby moon in California, where we explored the Red Woods, McWay Falls and more.

    Do you think that certain U.S states could be good for a first time solo traveler? (with no driving license). I've just turned 24 and I haven't even left the UK since I was a little kid. I've finally decided to get out of my comfort zone and solo travel but everyone is telling me that the U.S isn't a good starting point because of bad hostels and public transport. But tbh I've always wanted to visit the U.S more than any other country. Have you got any advice? Would greatly appreciate it!

    Sorry but I un-subbed. Used to love the content about being free and wanderlust and lately it’s about pregnancy and traveling with kids. I’m adamantly CF. Good luck and hope the new kid doesn’t effect your destinations.
