I went travelling around Thailand for one month in January 2022.
In this second half I head to the south, starting in Khao Sok National Park and then visiting Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary.
Then we went to Krabi and stayed in Ao Nang and then Railay Beach.
In Koh Phi Phi we got to see the recently re-opened Maya Bay made famous from The Beach,
Then my journey finished with a few nights in Koh Lanta.

Which place did you guys like the look of the most?
Just a reminder, this trip was in January 2022 when we had to run the gauntlet of the Thailand Pass Test & Go scheme.
As of July 2022 all these rules are gone, so this is a unique document of a strange and weird time of travelling, that wasnโt without its rewards though!

I was on Koh Phi Phi half a year after the Tsunami. That was crazy to see. Good to see that it is build back better now ๐
I stayed in Koh Sok for the overnight experience. I got bitten by a spider in the face, a bat was hanging from the top of my hut in the middle of the night and a monkey kept me awake all night. ๐คฃ Still worth it tho.
You missed out on one of the best view points in thailand by not climbing the rope in railay beach and also the hidden lagoon which is one of the most beautiful things I saw there. You should look it up. You will have to go back again. Thailand revisited revisited

Thank you so much for highlighting that bathing Elephants is not a good thing to do! I was last in Thailand in 2019 and made a point of properly researching and getting trusted recommendations for an ethical sanctuary, as I know you have to be so careful with animal tourism to make sure the animals aren't being exploited or hurt in anyway. I had absolutely no idea that bathing was bad, and unfortunately it is something I participated in as I didn't know any better. ๐ I'll be going back to Thailand for a couple of months towards the end of this year, so very grateful for the new knowledge so me and other backpackers can make sure we're supporting the right places and no Elephants are being mistreated!

Awesome to see u in Thailand again! Your videos have inspired me to go there which was a childhood dream of mine that I was talked out of a couple times by ppl that swore it was too sketchy and dangerous in Thailand. Obviously, as usual,it's like any other place where a little common sense will keep you as safe as anywhere else.
Wow, that was awesome. I was totally immersed from start to finish. Probably the best video travel blog I ever saw. Superb job mate. I was in my own little world throughout that. What a place too. I'd do anything to get myself over there to experience that beautiful and awesome scenery. It really is heaven on earth.

Love your videos. One question though that came to mind after watching your previous episode is how long it will take people who got infected after taking the jabberjab to finally wake up and realize that they have been duped by health officials. Keep up the great work!
I got so hammered on phi phi that I got lost on the island for about 2 hours….barefoot..
No idea what the place I was staying at was called so couldn't ask for help.
A nice security guard gave me some lost and found flip flops after they saw me on the 4th or 5th lap :p

So i have not gotten covid yet. But i have had to quarantine 2 times because i came in close contact with people who had it. I was lucky. But yeah having to quarantine when you dont even have it sucked.
Also Elephants and Orangutans are my fav animals in the world. So this video made me cry. Im so glad they changed into a sanctuary.
