We board the Japanese overnight ferry Sunflower Sapporo in a flexible private cabin “Superior”. This ferry connects Tomakomai in Hokkaido with Oarai in Ibaraki. Tomakomai is a 1~2 hour train ride from Sapporo, and Oarai is a 2~3 hour train ride from Tokyo, making it easy to use for those traveling between Hokkaido and Tokyo.
Departure from Tomakomai is in the evening, arriving in Oarai in the early afternoon the next day. Dinner and breakfast will be at the restaurant, where you can try a buffet of your favorite dishes for as much food as you like.
