【Nakashima river bridges & Temple town】
Most of the stone bridges remaining on the Nakajima River, which flows through Nagasaki City, were built in the Edo period (1603-1868), and some of them are designated as cultural assets.
The temple town extends from the Nakajima River to the uptown side of the city, where visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the area.
This area is also home to many cats.
