The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living showcases miniature houses and streets during the Edo Period in Japan (1603 – 1867).

Looking at the artifacts, furniture and scenes of daily interaction with family and neighbors, one can visualize ancient way of life in Japan. Some traditions are still being observed today.

Location: 530-0041 Osaka Municipal Housing Information Center, 6-4-20 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka

Direction: Alight at Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome station on the Osaka Metro Tanimichi Line or Sakaisuji Line and Hankyu Railway Senri Line.

Entrance fee for adults is JPY600.
