  4. You made it to iloilo, then Guimaras, then Cebu. Why not pass by Bacolod after Guimaras? Bacolod is one of the top provinces of the country.

  6. If you like Iloilo city look at Texas Filipino, he just built a new house in Iloilo City, right on the beach will be there this week, coming from Texas. Bob F

  7. -I think B confused Siargao Island with Surigao City.
    -Tagbilaran City in Bohol feels like a sleepy small town.
    -Vis-à-vis the Visayas, expats seem to favor Dumaguete City.
    -Cebu-wise, I'd choose Newtown on Mactan Island as a homebase.

    SUGBO MERCADO in CEBU I.T. PARK for street food, MAGELLAN’S CROSS and STO. NINO BASILICA for history, AYALA CENTER CEBU and SM SEASIDE for shopping, CEBU OCEAN PARK the largest oceanarium in the Phlippines, TEMPLE OF LEAH and TAOIST TEMPLE for architecture, TOPS LOOKOUT for amazing views of the City, visit for a day use any luxurious resorts in MACTAN ISLAND do water sports activities, ILCORSO for authentic Filipino foods, SIRAO GARDEN for refreshing views.

    SOUTHERN PART OF CEBU:
    MOALBOAL for swimming with millions of sardines and sea turtles, BADIAN KAWASAN FALLS for canyoneering and OSLOB for swimming with whalesharks.

    NORTHERN PART OF CEBU:
    MALAPASCUA ISLAND for diving with thresher sharks, BANTAYAN ISLAND for white sand and beaches and sky diving, SOGOD for EL MAR RESORT the largest resort in the Philippines and CARMEN for the CEBU SAFARI AND ADVENTURE PARK the largest in the Philippines and you can even rent a log cabin there in the middle of nowhere.

  11. Try island hoping off the coast of Mactan Island. Try to get a banca that offers island hoping to Nalusuan, Caohagan, Olonggo, Hilutungan

Hello Michael and Bianca I'm from Cebu welcome I would like to suggest for you to check out this British vlogger Mergim vlogs He was just in Cebu for 2 wks he did an extensive vlog of Cebu city Moalboal. and the surrounding areas Malapasqua Bantayan Island He talks to the locals and gets ideas from them He is so friendly and easy-going He'll be happy to talk to you and guide you Good luck

You can also visit resorts in Mactan Island that's where the airport is. you don't have to stay there maybe just have some drinks will do. there are white sand resorts like Shangri-la, plantation bay, crimson etc. you can also visit lapu lapu shrine and learn its history. The guitar factory is also in there.. Magellans cross is also located near the basilica and fort San Pedro

  14. You should go to Cebu by January Cebu for Sinulog Celebration…Dumaguete Negros is good for both of you..
