In this video, I ride my trusty folding mountain bike over Aso Ohashi (the large bridge). The bridge is new and was put in a new location following the 2016 earthquakes that took place here in Kumamoto. I rode down from the Uchinomaki area along route 57 (there were some scary bits) and returned through the town of Minami Aso, where the earthquakes took their toll. They certainly used a lot of concrete to construct this mammoth structure, but thankfully there is still some green around the area. It’s a pretty high bridge and gets your blood moving, that’s for sure! Enjoy.
