Today I am discovering Japan… in Singapore. I am visiting Ginza Tendon Itsuki, one of the most popular Tempura/Tendon places located at Tanjong Pagar. I tried their limited Ukiyo-E set (only 15sets per day) and later on visited Asian Civilization Museum to check out their special exhibition, “Life in Edo | Russel Wong in Kyoto”. I’m really amazed I was able to enjoy these truly Japanese experiences in Singapore. Definitely worth a visit!

This is good. But I prefer tenya. Its a lot more crispy and light! And cheaper too.
My absolute favorite Tempura restaurant. Because of this place, other tempura places always disappoint me. Keisuke Tempura has spoiled me. XD
I’ve been there a few times before! Food’s surprisingly affordable and I can get some shochu without going over my $30 budget.
Definitely worth the meal.
Hope u can also introduce Japanese vegetarian meals too in. Singapore too

I really wanted to try but had already been through the 50min queue to get in only to find out about this. May I check whether you know the admission discount to the ACM's exhibition from he postcard received from Keisuke applies for the entire duration of the exhibition (until the end of exhibition), or only for specific period? すごいなぁ、こんなクオリティの天ぷらのセットがあるとは驚きました。映像からレベルの高さ伝わりますし、これをシンガポールで食べられるのは素敵ですね。そしてまさかの〜日本の文化を知れる展覧会が素晴らし過ぎます。自分も関東から京都に移り住んで早くも一年半位経ちましたが、思いがけずめっちゃ勉強になりました😆thank you❤️
