In December of 2021, I spent a week and a half eating my way through the United Arab Emirates. I mostly did a mix of local and Indian food, and I loved every moment of it.

One of my favorite experiences was reconnecting with my old friend Trevor James, a.k.a. The Food Ranger, and going on some crazy food adventures with him! Check out my full documentary about the 48 hours we spent together in Dubai and Sharjah!

Our adventures kicked off in Dubai, in the Al Karama and Old Dubai areas. At Rokn Al Fahedi Cafe, we enjoyed some incredible methi aloo parathas with mint chutney, yellow dal, and achar. I loved the ghee in the paratha, as well as the spicy, potent flavors.

After masala chai and mango lassi, we headed to Veg World, which has roughly 500 vegetarian items on their menu! There, we grabbed a cheesy jini dosa, a mountainous Titanic sandwich, a masala dosa, and some spicy dhokla.

We then hit up Jaffer Bhai’s Restaurant for mutton biryani, mutton seekh kebabs, garlic butter naan, and lamb brains! We followed that with pani puri at Mumbai Express, pav bhaji at Vaibhav, matka chai. Then, it was time for tunday kababi, Mughlai parathas, and saffron at Via Lucknow.

Our final meal of the day was the boti kebab, shahi tukda, and jalebi!

Then, we did it all over again a couple of days later in Sharjah! We enjoyed an authentic Emirati breakfast of lamb nashet, parotta, balaleet, fool, chickpeas, shebabs, omelet, karak tea, and more at Al Fanar Restaurant.

At Mehfil Biriyani, we tried Calicut dum biryani with mutton, along with raita and papadum. Next were pomegranate juice, and a mix of fruits, nuts, and ice cream at Juice World.

At Bait Al Mandi, we had Yemeni food, including camel mandi, salmon bukari, and shatta. Of course, we had to follow that with some pani puri at Bombay Sweets & Restaurant!

Finally, at Tea Arts Cafeteria, we had an amazing beef dosa with coconut chutney and tomato chutney, as well as some karak tea!

  2. RELIGIONS, GOVERNMENTS, POLICE, AND MILITARIES ARE THE WORST EVILS HUMANITY HAS EVER ENDURED
COURTS, POLICE AND MILITARIES EVERY YEAR STEAL AND SUPPLY MILLIONS OF CHILDREN TO ARCHONS WORLD WIDE WHO RAPE THEM AND CONSUME THEIR BLOOD & ORGANS
POLICE AND MILITARIES EVERY YEAR KIDNAP AND SUPPLY MILLIONS OF WOMEN TO ARCHONS WORLD WIDE WHO RAPE THEM AND USE THEM AS SEX SLAVES
WHILE WE ARE KEPT BUSY WITH MEANINGLESS MEMES OF THE DAY
IF WE DON'T STAND FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN THEN WHAT ELSE IS LEFT * *

  3. Everyone who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, the doubt exit your mind right now. May replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life ❤❤

  4. Good morning David: When you were editing this documentary I purposely avoided watching your screen because I wanted to see it first hand. And all I can say is WOW. Great editing and great continuity. The food had me salivating because it all looked so delicious. I prefer the food in Dubai rather than the street food in India. If anyone hasn't tried Indian food before you really don't know what you are missing. Biryani was so moist. Everything was just amazing. Can't wait to see the others. David you are driving us nuts because you did two at one time and while I was watching this documentary, I believe you did the Miss Marvel tsk, tsk, tsk. I have to watch Miss Marvel now, so more comments to come. All in all, fantastic job. I used to work as a secretary at a radio station in San Fernando, Trinidad so I am pretty much aware of what you do. Looking forward to the rest of the series. In the meantime, like I always say, stay safe, stay healthy and God be with you and your family.🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
