► Kinomiya Jinja is a shinto shrine founded in 720, and it is one of the most important shrines in Atami, Shizuoka.

Set in a small forest near Kinomiya station, with a vivid gate leading to a small path through a bamboo grove, with side shrines with decorative wooden carvings, all makes it a very interesting and atmospheric place to visit. Have a peep. – Enjoy!

  1. Thomas, what a gorgeous and stately shrine tucked away in the forest! I love the atmosphere here with it's colorful buildings and surroundings….loved the bamboo and gorgeous wood carvings The fountain in the middle of your video is especially interesting where people were washing their hands in the water and must hold special significance. Thanks so much for taking us all to this very beautiful and important shrine 🙂 ~Jackie
