Second half of my road from Erbil to Slemani. One of the hardest rides since the start of my journey, as the road is extremely dangerous because many drivers force me off the road in order to avoid getting killed on a car accident.

  1. Bravo and congratulations for your tour.
Following you since Slovenia, I never missed an episode.
For me new and especially interesting was the part from Istanbul onwards. Thank you.

  2. Put a flag 🚩 going out sideways to your left so cars stay away from you. Just advice my friend.

  3. Just found your page a few days ago and started watching… love the content and can't wait to see more videos

  4. this is so cool. could i ask though, at any point in time did you feel unsafe considering the countries past? i know things are much calmer there now, and the media tends to blow things out of proportion. but did a thought like that ever cross your mind?

  5. I was a college student in Erbil and Im from Slemani, I used to drive my car in that road for 4 years. Yes that road is very dangerous even if you drive a car. And the reason behind your bad experience with the road is that its not designed for cycling and actually here in Kurdistan no one goes on that road with a 🚲 .. so forgive the drivers

  6. Dude i live in sulaymanyiah but you took the wrong road it's a miracle you survived because this road is usually having a lot of trucks there's another wider road

  7. Hello Yves, Cava ? 😊

I’m from Rawanduz but I live in EU now, however I have a lot of family in Kurdistan .

I’m guessing when you read these your already home but if you ever decide to come back again ,we would love to host you on a full trip of your choice . weather it’s in the mountains or city’s that will be your choice !

I hope you will get to read this and will find the time for more videos in Kurdistan! ❤️

  8. You have already chosen the most dangerous road in Kurdistan even for cars, you could have taken another road that passes through the city of Kirkuk, I am originally from Kurdistan, I follow you from Texas

  10. The drivers' destructive behavior is not because of bad intention, they only do not have much experience to treat with a bicycle on the road, plus lack of education for such situations. And most of the times it happens with truck drivers who are tired and impatient.

  11. Man in Iraq, the laws are not strictly enforced and accidents due to speeding happen a lot, so you should be careful next time stay safe 🙏🏻🤍🙏🏻

Trailer drivers in the Kurdistan region are the most reckless on the fast track, and most of them are Turks. Welcome to Iraqi Kurdistan

  13. if you drive a bike on a driveway no way it’s going to be dangerous that’s why other countries have bikelanes bro to be fair it’s not safe to drive the bike on a national driveway anywhere

👌💞⚘⚘🍀🌻💖🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷

  15. Well i agree with you about keeping a good distance to bisycles, but you shoule for the same reson wear the helmet👍😊

  16. It’s not a road for bicycle. Everybody drives fast. You must know that the roads between two cities are always dangerous for bicycles and walkers. Nobody use bicycle there.

  18. cyclist culture doesnt exist in iraq unfortunatly. They dont pay any respect to the cyclists

  19. People for some reason consider not driving over 100km and being maniacs on roads a matter of honor, it’s really an exhilarating and terrifying experience at the same time, much less for a guy on an E-bike

  21. The people on the road don't know that u r a foreigner and the non urban roads generally are just two opposite lanes in Kurdistan so they think you're kurdish and doing that purposely to make a barrier for them because a kurdish person won't bike on such a non urban road it's unique to see such a thing, be sure that if they knew your nationality they wouldn't behave like that.

  22. Well in that vulnerable little contraption im surprised you have survived after your many journeys – do be careful Monsieur.

  23. I am from Iraq and every time I go out with a car I get pissed off as hell, so it is very understandable!
