Welcome to the Royal Welsh Show!!! This was the most unique and special County Show we have attended so far… Wales is such a special country.

The pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show…

Along with an exciting four-days of livestock and equine competitions, with entries travelling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.

As a family we love seeking new and unique experiences and adventures and county show are great windows into local British culture and Wales has some really unique culture.

  1. I predict, in a few years, you'll still be on YouTube, but from your own beef and sheep farm somewhere in the UK. Still getting excited about rare breeds 🙂

  2. Tug of War was an Olympic Event from 1900 to 1920. UK won Gold Twice, USA, Sweden and a Mixed team once. 1916 did not occur due to a different tug of War.

  3. You are both so gracious about the UK. Its really good to hear although there are 'some' dubious areas like in every country. Glad you feel safe here. My only concern about going to the US with my young family is the gun culture. Hope you continue to enjoy the UK.

  4. This was so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it is much appreciated. Saw dome amazing things learned something new . It is wonderful to travel via a vid which is well done . You absolutely nailed it 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

  5. Thank you, Mac and the gang, your films only get better. You could help to get disenfranchised, English, townies to get interested in agriculture, nature and the countryside with your engaging tone and video presence. I know that your main interest is the agriculture itself, but your presentation is better and more, may I say "accessible" than say, the BBC "countryfile" programme. Your "reality" may appeal to a whole, new, younger generation. 😁😎👍

  6. I've really enjoyed watching your family visits to these agricultural and county shows. Your enthusiasm and appreciation of our culture is evident in the love and care you put into making these videos. Cheers to you and your family.

  7. You've missed the Shropshire County Agricultural Show, that was back in the end of May, But it will return next year.

  8. Just wondered if you noticed something different about how a lot of the Welsh look-compared to the English ? Look up Chris Coleman, ex Welsh football manager, or Tom Jones or Alex Jones, the One show host. They all have a darker Latin look compared to the English. It’s Moorish blood.

  9. Thank you for a great tour of the show, and your thoughts and expertise regarding the animals were very interesting.
It was so nice to see some of the individual craftspeople as well, that gentleman who makes the firepits, he really does have a talent.
I was due to attend the show but circumstances meant we couldn't attend.
Although I live in a city I'm really a country and outdoors person at heart.
    Best Wishes from Wales.

  10. Wales is a beautiful country with a fascinating history, well worth investigating. I'm from a Welsh background, so some bias there! 🇬🇧

  11. sadly you have missed Ardingly South of England show which is the sussex area and a big show

  12. Another great video, my children spent most of their holidays at agricultural shows including the Royal Welsh where we were exhibitors.

  13. Your American Bacon is called Streaky Bacon in Britain the ham looking one is Back Bacon our ham is as called Gamon. There are many types of cure used used on Ham and Bacon wet and dry as the customer you don't know if wet or dry just Yorkshire or Honey Roast to name only two.

  14. Not sure about England and Wales or the American County Fairs but the origins of the Royal Highland Show ( held beside Edinburgh airport)organised by the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society lie in the 18th century agricultural revolution and the need to spread the word about better ways or new techniques of farming. Common land was being enclosed to make farms that Estate owning landlords could charge rent for so improving productivity meant bigger rents. Early history of agric shows in Scotland shows that the owners of prizewinning bulls had to promise to cover at least 20 local cows so that the blood lines ( genetics not a common term then) were spread more widely. Agric Colleges and Universities have taken over but Shows like the ones you have featured still showcase the best each breed and species can offer or introduce new ideas in technology.

  15. Great video. You are a lovely family. Your kids are a credit to you. Good luck and keep the videos rolling.
