Located within Setagaya ward in western Tokyo, Futako Tamagawa is an area of modern shopping and greenery built along the banks of the Tama River. An ideal spot for family picnics or long lunch dates, the area is particularly busy when hundreds of thousands of people come to watch the Tama River Fireworks Festival.
