The TODAY anchors have reunited in Japan and are playing tourists for the day by visiting a popular landmark. Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world, standing over 2,000 feet high. A high-speed elevator takes the anchors to one of the observation decks, giving an all-encompassing view of the city below. “This is the perfect way to say hello to Tokyo,” Savannah notes.

Nice astro boy cameo! 😁
日本語で失礼しますが、todayの主要キャスターの皆さん日本に来てたんですね。東京は緊急事態中ではありますが、くれぐれも感染には気をつけて楽しんでくださいね。
nice tower in Japan
Okay there's a lot to unpack here.. first of all, I thought visitors were not allowed in Tokyo during the Olympics. Yet, there you for our touristing… Second, Savannah and Hoda are working, so I understand why they're there. Al Roker??? Really? And what exactly is the excuse for that? Parents can't even watch their children perform yet you invite Al and whoever that other dude on the left is. Not cool. You clowns should be ashamed of yourself.
I have videos I posted from my cellphone that have more views than your elitist media production. Super sad. I hope everybody catches on that you are over there partying and having a great time while the athletes families are banned.. and I am not kidding. You all deserve to be called out for this circus.
*four, not for…
PS, the tower is an amazing feat of architecture and design..

Thanks God no earthquake lol
Beautiful view. Thanks for doing this!
Too cool.
and here i thought there was a media bubble..
Welcome to Tokyo, Savannah, Hoda, Craig, and Al!
I watch TODAY everyday from Tokyo. I can't believe the whole TODAY gang is in Tokyo!
I'm so glad you guys are enjoying the city. I've been to Skytree twice before, but I haven't been to the higher deck myself… You should try Tokyo Tower as well. I personally like New York's Top of the Rock and the Chicago Skydeck at Willis Tower though. 😉
Hope I can show you around more despite the pandemic.
I wish they did Shibuya Sky at sunset
Pride of tokyo, japan. Great.
Tokyo did an amazing job considering this was occurring during a global pandemic and they did it very well to carry on the Olympics
Awesome family/team work with each other! You guys really bring out the best of humanity, thank you!
WHOA!!!! The Tokyo Skytree REALLY takes the cake! A lot taller than Chicago's Willis Tower at 1,454 feet, New York's One World Trade Center at 1,776 feet, and even Atlanta's Bank of America Plaza at 1,023 feet.
Why you guys set up broadcast set here please one contain yourselves very cringe we dont care about your presence here
また日本に遊びにきてね
Before Corona it used to be much more cowded up there.
This was so wholesome! Love it!
