If Disney would have let Guillermo del Toro make his Haunted Mansion movie, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Ghost Host is the Hanging Man, Gracey is the portrait. This is just further proof that Disney doesn't give a s#$% anymore about their own mythos, and they are treating everything like clipart.
Master Gracey, by rights, isn't even the man in the portrait. It's the grave of a child somehow connected to the mansion. Grown men weren't masters; children were. But meh, it's too late now! Everything will have changed yet again in a week's time…

Awe… they didn’t make magic portholes on the new ship?? That’s a detail I found so magical and only the old Disney would do.
They don’t even know the story behind their own rides anymore… it’s so sad. Disney isn’t Disney anymore. There is no magic.

To me, the sketchbook part of the title is the key here as that may have been the original idea for Master Gracey and then that character got switched to the ghost host later on and Master Gracey became the one presented in the foyer portrait. So the two may not be confused at all.

H2O+ made garbage products. I always had to bring my own shampoo and conditioner. The only thing I would use is the hand soap to wash my hands.
I hope i can watch the teaser trailers for echo and secret invasion on disney+ day

I have to admit, I like many other fans of the Haunted Mansion always thought that Master Gracey and the Ghost Host were one in the same. I guess it depends who you ask. The Haunted Mansion is one of the few attractions that has many backstories associated with it (as well as many iterations of the attraction in terms of the international Disney parks) and each one is different.
