Kawagoe, Saitama prefecture has preserved streets of classic castle town from the Edo period (17th to 19th centuries). The city is known as “Koedo ー Little Edo” after the old name for Tokyo, due to its many historic buildings and “kura” storehouses. Walking with “yukata” a casual summer kimono is a great match to the city’s nostalgic atmosphere.
埼玉県（さいたまけん）の川越（かわごえ）は、江戸時代（えどじだい）の城下町（じょうかまち）です。今でも蔵づくり（くらづくり）の家が多く、江戸時代の雰囲気（ふんいき）がある小江戸（こえど）として人気（にんき）があります。浴衣（ゆかた）を着て歩くと、まちの雰囲気とよく似合います（にあいます）。
