  1. Hi… For the record, if one of you puts too much vinegar or lemon in the soup like Luke did, try to add more salt to offset., or vice versa…

  2. Turkey is the only country in the world with the best and the most variety with 19000 kinds of food, 600 kinds of soup and more than 100 kinds of desserts.

  3. Although I am a Turkish guy , I really don't know the resturants that you find. Perfect , you are really a local restaurant spy 😀

  4. ç sound with i next to it pronounced like chi (energy) so it is beurekchi . BTW BÖREK IS TOO EXPENSIVE :O

  6. Hi Luke, thank you for your informative videos about Turkey, it's really great to see the country I live in through your eyes 🙂

By the way, the 'ı' in 'kahvaltı' and 'mantı' is pronounced like 'uh', so 'kah-val-tuh' and 'man-tuh'.

And Ş is pronounced like 'sh' and Ç like 'ch', so Paçacı Şemsi is 'Pah-cha-juh Shem-see'.

Thanks again, I look forward to your future videos.

  7. What about a visit to Tunisia, for a culinary tour and a visit to our Monuments including the second largest Roman Colosseum in the world!

  8. Man, don't play their government's game. Call it Turkey, not Türkiye.
Come on, even YouTube tags it as Turkey
