Is the touristy Istanbul Street Food worth it? We headed out to try some street food in Istanbul to see whether or not the really touristy stuff is worth it.

We wandered around Istiklal Caddesi and tried some of the Istanbul street food stalls that we came across. First up was grilled corn from one of the local street food stalls. We continued along and found simit, which is a popular Istanbul street food.

As our day continued, we just HAD to try Turkish ice cream or dondurma, which is a very popular, yet sometimes touristy, street food in Istanbul. Our last stop of the day was to try an islak hamburger, very wet and very sloppy, but super tasty!
