Arashiyama Bamboo Forest in Kyoto, Japan | We visited one of Kyoto’s most iconic locations, Sagano Arashiyama (嵯峨野嵐山) and walked through the famous bamboo path – officially known as “Chikurin no Michi”. Once you pass through the bamboo path, turn right and you’ll see a little shrine next to the pond, Mikami Shrine. As this shrine is the only shrine in Japan dedicated to hair, many hairstylists and beauty fans from all over visit this shrine to make their prayers!

《Fun Fact: The history behind Arashiyama》This famous sightseeing area transformed into a scenic spot of leisure and recreation for the people of Kyoto around the 7th century, when Emperor Kanmu made his excursion to Kyoto (the former capital of Japan).
