Mt. Hiei (Hieizan) Day Hike From Kyoto!

Japan has some beautiful hiking spots! Mt. Hiei (Hiezan) rises 848m from the surrounding Kyoto area. It has central Kyoto on one side, Lake Biwa on the other, and is accessible by bus, cable car, ropeway, car… and by foot!
