The evil and elusive Pope Lick Monster, informally known as the Kentucky Goatman, is a fascinating cryptid with a past characterized by death. The legend of the Pope Lick Monster itself has claimed dozens of lives since it first emerged in the 1980s. Said to live in Fisherville, Kentucky just outside of Louisville, the monster dwells underneath a decaying railroad bridge that spans the infamous Pope Lick Creek.
