Located in Ishikawa Prefecture, the @UNESCO world-heritage listed Senmaida Rice Terraces are illuminated each winter with thousands of small LED lights. This annual event called Aze no Kirameki (“Twinkling of the Ridges”), transforms the rice paddies into a winter wonderland. The light-up event is on until 10 March 2019.
